CricKatha 2026  CRICKET ARTICLE COMPETITION

Rules and Regulations:

  1. The competition is open to all cricket enthusiasts and writers across the globe. Participants must be 16 years or above at the time of submission.
  2. Participants must submit articles based on the official topics/themes announced by CricKatha. Entries not aligned with the given themes may not be considered.
  3. Submissions must be in English.
  4. Articles should be between 1500 to 2000 words. Entries significantly outside this range may be subject to disqualification or reduced scoring.
  5. All submissions must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism in any form will lead to immediate disqualification. Use of AI tools should not result in generic or unoriginal content. Entries should reflect the participant’s own thinking and voice.
  6. Articles must be submitted in Word and PDF format. Each submission should include the participant’s full name, email ID, contact number, and title of the article. File name format should be: AuthorName_TitleCode_CricKatha.
  7. The competition will be launched on 1 May 2026, and the submission deadline is 15 July 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.
  8. Entries will be evaluated based on originality and idea, content depth and research, storytelling and engagement, structure and clarity, language and expression, and relevance to the theme. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  9. 2 Winning entries will be published in CricKatha (Diwali Ank 2026). Moreover, total 5 entries will be recognized with certificates and/or prizes, which will be announced separately. Selected entries may also be featured on associated platforms. The names of 5 winners will be published via social media, also in CricKatha 2026 edition.
  10. By submitting an entry, participants grant CricKatha the right to publish, edit, and promote the article in future editions of CricKatha, with due credit to the author. Authors will retain ownership of their work.
  11. Submissions must not contain offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content, or any unverified allegations or sensitive claims. The article should be free from any Political and/or Religious statement. If found, the entry will be disqualified immediately.
  12. CricKatha reserves the right to modify the rules if required and to accept or reject entries at its discretion.
